Mount Anne

Mount Anne is the highest mountain in Southwest Tasmania.
It is primarily a dolerite mountain but has an extensive cave
system in Dolomite in its base including the cave Anna-A-Kananda
which is one of the deepest caves in Australia.
The Mount Anne massif contains a superb region of ancient Gondwanan
type vegetation on its North East ridge. Here are found some of the finest
examples of cushion plants in Tasmania.
